The Developing of The Participatory Internal Supervision Model for Educational Institutions under the Mahasarakham Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the current and the desirable conditions of participatory internal supervision in educational institutions under the Office for the Promotion of Learning, Maha Sarakham Province and 2. to develop a participatory internal supervision model for educational institutions under the Office for the Promotion of Learning, Maha Sarakham Province. This research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative research. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire and an interview form. The sample for Phase 1 comprised 181 individuals, while the target group for Phase 2 consisted of 13 individuals selected through purposive sampling. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using content analysis. The research findings revealed that 1) The current condition of participatory internal supervision in educational institutions under the Office for the Promotion of Learning, Maha Sarakham Province, was found to be at a high level overall (x̅ = 4.15). The modified Priority Needs Index ranked the needs from highest to lowest as follows: (1) supervision implementation (2) supervision planning (3) applying evaluation results for improvement and (4) inspection and evaluation and 2) The participatory internal supervision model for educational institutions under the Office for the Promotion of Learning Maha Sarakham Province was found to consist of (1) principles (2) objectives (3) implementation methods in four areas (3.1) supervision planning (6 implementation methods) (3.2) supervision implementation (5 implementation methods) (3.3) inspection and evaluation (5 implementation methods) and (3.4) applying evaluation results for improvement (5 implementation methods) (4) evaluation and (5) success conditions.
