Skills and Motivation that Affect Financial Reporting Results of Accountants Working in Accounting Offices in Bangkok

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the skills of accountants that affect the achievement in preparing financial reports of accountants working in accounting offices in Bangkok and 2. to study the motivation of accountants. Prepare accounts that affect the achievement in preparing financial reports of accountants working in accounting offices in Bangkok. This is a quantitative research The research tool was a questionnaire with a sample group of accountants working in accounting offices in Bangkok Currently there are 335 people who are calculated from the quantitative sample size using the Taro Yamane (1973) formula at a tolerance level of 0.05 from purposive sampling Then the data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed Using descriptive statistics including percentage mean and standard deviation. The results of the research found that 1) The skills of accountants that affect the achievement in preparing financial reports of accountants working in accounting offices in Bangkok, overall, are at a high level. is at a high level (x̅= 4.11, S.D. = 0.458) and when considering each aspect, which is arranged from highest to lowest average, the top 3 are intellectual skills (x̅= 4.17, S.D. = 0.423), interaction skills between personnel and communication with others (x̅= 4.15, S.D. = 0.474) in practical academic skills and job duties (x̅= 4.14, S.D. = 0.533) and 2) the motivation of accountants that affect the achievement in preparing financial reports of accountants working in accounting offices. in Bangkok, overall, it is at a high level (x̅= 4.11, S.D. = 0.467) and when considering each aspect, which is arranged from the highest to lowest average, the top 3 are compensation (x̅= 4.17, S.D. = 0.471) organizational policies (x̅= 4.14, S.D. = 0.470) and job characteristics (x̅= 4.13, S.D. = 0.454)
