Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the history and identity of ethnic dances at the Sisaket Four Thai Tribes New Year Festival and 2. to study the ethnic dances of the Four Thai Tribes. In the context of the creative economy at the Thai Four Tribes New Year Festival. is a qualitative type of research. The research tool is an interview, with the target group being a group of knowledgeable people, practitioners, and a group of general informants from a purposive selection of 30 people. Then, the information gathered from the interviews and various documents is used. related Let's analyze in terms of content Analysis. The results of the research found that 1) Ethnic dances at the Sisaket Four Thai Tribes New Year Festival It is a process of creating ethnic identity through dance, including the Trat dance of the Khmer ethnic group, the Tum drum dance of the Lao ethnic group, the Nang O dance, the Suai ethnic group and the Seng Sanai of the Yeo ethnic group. which dance has an effect on society, culture, and economy in the community and to express oneself in a cultural space that can demonstrate ethnic identity to be accepted in a multicultural society. Therefore, there is a need to conserve and inherit the dance of the four Thai ethnic groups expressed through their identities, dance moves, music, and costumes. by reflecting the social, cultural, and economic dimensions, it plays an important role in pushing for the process of using dance to show the existence of the four Sisaket Thai ethnic tribes that have had their own artistic and cultural identities for a long time and 2) Bringing the concept of creative economy is the basis for developing ethnic products. by driving the economy based on the ethnic dance identity that focuses on adding value, creating value, promoting products and community products taken from the four ethnic dances, the creative economy helps create jobs and generate income by transferring knowledge about the concept of the creative economy. to product manufacturers in the community through the Thai New Year Festival of the Four Tribes so that product manufacturers can develop products and process them into new products, including (1) woven fabric products (2) silver jewelry products (3) Products Process
