The Effect of the Inquiry Science Project Based Learning on Early Childhood Development

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the early childhood development of early childhood by using the inquiry science project based learning and and 2. to compare the early childhood development of early childhood before and after using the inquiry science project based learning. is quantitative research. The research tool was a questionnaire. The sample group used in the research was 15 preschool children in Kindergarten Year 3, academic year 2022, of Ban Nong Suea Chang School. (Charung Rat Phatthana) Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, which was obtained from purposive selection. The data collected from the evaluation form was then analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. and compared by t-test. The results of research were as follows: 1) After using scientific inquiry projects to develop early childhood development Early childhood children had higher scores on assessments of development in all 4 areas: physical, emotional, mental, social, and intellectual than before the use of scientific inquiry projects to develop early childhood development. Statistically significant at the .01 level with a t value of 1.77 and a p value of 0.00 and 2) Comparison of the early childhood development in using the inquiry science project based learning was significantly higher than before studying at .01
