Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the history of Wusheng opera in the modern Chinese context and 2. to study the physical practices of Wusheng opera. is qualitative research. The research tools were interviews and observational forms, with the target groups for the research being a group of 4 knowledgeable people, a group of 4 practitioners and a group of 20 general informants who were selected through a purposive selection. The information gathered from interview forms and related documents were then content analysis. The results of the research found that 1) Wusheng Opera Its role in ancient history was passed down from ancient cultures to Confucianism. and refined until it became an intangible cultural heritage in China's modern era. Wusheng opera performances are simple and elegant, with beautiful styles and unique artistry. Many of the artworks in each industry are different. from opera in other genres and has distinctive characteristics, and compared with the men's movements in contemporary Chinese classical dance developed on the basis of opera, it has many differences.
