The Development of Learning Activities in Flipped Classroom Social Media in the Topic of Sufficiency Economy and Economic Development in Thailand

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to develop inverted classroom learning activities in conjunction with social media. To be effective, according to the 80/80 criterion 2. to study the effectiveness index of learning activities inverted classroom style with social media 3. to compare learning achievement between before and after learning and 4. To study the students' satisfaction with the inverted classroom learning activities combined with social media. The sample group consisted of Mathayomsuksa 5 students at Mukdawittayanukul School. It's experimental research. There were research tools consisting of (1) a plan for inverted classroom learning activities combined with social media, (2) a learning achievement test, and (3) a questionnaire on student satisfaction with the inverted classroom learning activities. In conjunction with social media, The samples used in the experiment were 38 Mathayomsuksa 5 students at Mukdawittayanukul School, which were randomly drawn by lottery. Then the data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and tested the hypothesis with a dependent t-test. The results showed that 1) the efficiency of the process was 85.63 and the efficiency of the results was 82.37 2) the effective index of learning management activities using inverted classroom learning activities with social media. The value was 0.6954, which means that the students' knowledge increased by 69.54 percent. The average score before learning was 12.63 points and the average after learning was 24.71 points, with the achievement after learning higher than before learning at a statistical significance of .05 and 4) satisfaction with the development of learning activities. Inverted classroom knowledge with social media on the subject of sufficiency economy and economic development in Thailand Overall, it was at the highest level. (x̅= 4.73, S.D.= 0.44).
