A Guideline to Acquire Thai Nationality: In Case of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Students Nationality-Lessness Group

Abstract

This academic article is about the guideline in practice to acquire Thai nationality in case the group of nationality-lessness students Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. The conclusion from interviewing the group of nationality-lessness students found that students lack of understanding, method process and the rights to acquire Thai nationality especially the group of nationality-lessness students currently studying include the group of gradated. However, many laws in the present about acquiring Thai nationality but also that have caused confuse in practice. Therefore, in order to solve the following problems, this article is objective for giving knowledge in the law, regulation and process to acquire Thai nationality for nationality-lessness students including apply to be the guideline for resolve the problem in the person’s status by relevant laws, process for applying Thai nationality and also the judgment from Supreme Court about acquiring nationality.
