The Development of Reading and Writing Abilities Using Brain-Based Learning (BBL) in Combination with the Training Assignments Package for Prathomsuksa 2 Students

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to develop lesson plans employing Brain-Based Learning (BBL) in combination with a training assignments package for Prathomsuksa 2 students to reach the efficiency level of 80/80 2. to compare the reading and writing abilities of Prathomsuksa 2 students learning with brain-based learning (BBL) in combination with the training assignments package using pre-test and post-test 3. to investigate students’ satisfaction with the development of reading and writing abilities using Brain-Based Learning (BBL) in combination with the training assignments package for Prathomsuksa 2 students. is a experimental research There is a research tool which is an learning management plans, Reading abilities test, Writing abilities tests and Questionnaire on students' satisfaction. The statistical analysis used in this research included mean, standard deviation, and dependent samples t-test. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The results of developing Brain-Based Learning (BBL) lesson plans in combination with the training assignments package for Prathomsuksa 2 students reached the efficiency level of 87.94/91.14, which met the set criteria of 80/80 2) The reading and writing abilities post-test of Prathomsuksa 2 students who learned with Brain-Based Learning (BBL) in combination with the training assignments package was statistically significantly higher than the pre-test at .05. and 3) Prathomsuksa 2 students’ satisfaction with the development of reading and writing abilities using Brain-Based Learning (BBL) in combination with the training assignments package was high in all aspects (x̅= 2.77, S.D. = 0.43).
