The Promoting Guideline to using of Organic Fertilizer in Yasothon Province Farmers.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the factors influencing the use of organic fertilizers by farmers in Yasothon province 2. to develop a guideline for promoting the use of organic fertilizers by farmers, and 3. to experiment, implement and evaluate the guideline for promoting the use of organic fertilizers by farmers. The present study adopted a mixed-method research design. There are research tools, namely questionnaires and interviews. The sample size was 399 farmers in Yasothon Province, which was calculated by calculating the sample size using Taro Yamane's (1973) formula at an error level of 05 that came from simple random sampling. and a target group of 45 people. The research instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentages, means, and standard deviations. Inferential statistics such as Multiple Linear Regression were used as an analytical tool, along with a comparison using the MANOVA Repeated Measure test and information obtained from the interview form Let's analyze it in terms of content analysis. The research findings indicated that 1) Factors influencing the use of organic fertilizers by farmers in Yasothon province included knowledge about organic fertilizers, learning exchange, participation in self-sufficient economic activities, increased happiness from reducing expenses and increasing income, and attitudes towards using organic fertilizers. All independent variables had a significant effect on the use of organic fertilizers by farmers in Yasothon province, with a percentage of 69.70 at a statistically significant level of .05. 2) Guidelines for promoting the use of organic fertilizers by farmers in Yasothon province consisted of three projects/activities: knowledge and attitude training programs for using organic fertilizers, practical training programs for organic fertilizer production and community organic agriculture market projects and 3) The experiment, implementation, and evaluation of the guidelines for promoting the use of organic fertilizers by farmers in Yasothon province revealed that the experimental group showed significant improvement in all three aspects: knowledge about organic fertilizers, attitudes towards using organic fertilizers, and actual use of organic fertilizers, with a statistically significant level of .05.
