Community Power and People's Participation in Tourism Management According to the way of life of the Community in Bueng Lahan Area Chaturat District Chaiyaphum Province.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study people's opinions on the process of people's participation in community-based tourism attractions management in Bueng Lahan District Chaturat District Chaiyaphum Province 2. to study community power and people's participation in community tourism management in Bueng Lahan District Chaturat District Chaiyaphum Province and 3. to study the application of the Saranee Dharma principle as a guideline to promote the process of public participation in community-based tourism tourism management in Bueng Lahan district Chaturat district Chaiyaphum province. is a Mixed Methods research between quantitative and qualitative research There are research tools such as questionnaires and interview. A sample of 400 people was obtained from the sample size calculation using Taro Yamane's formula (1973) at an error of 0.05 and a convenient random sampling was performed. and a target group of 30 person from a specific selection the data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and the information gathered from interview forms and related documents were then content analysis. The results showed that 1) The level of people's opinion towards the process of people's participation in community-based tourism tourism management in Bueng Lahan District Chaturat District Chaiyaphum Province Overall, it was at a high level (x̅=3.79) and when considering each aspect, it was found that it was at a high level in all aspects. In order of averages from highest to lowest, they were participation in planning (x̅ =4.06), participation in monitoring (x̅= 3.83), participation in action/operation (x̅=3.69), and Participation in the allocation of benefits (x̅ =3.57) respectively 2) Community power and people's participation in the management of tourism sites according to the community way in Bueng Lahan District Chaturat District Chaiyaphum Province, is, people in the community have gathered together, called that the "boat community" has fish and marine life for a living Later, tourists began to come in, so it was initiated to provide a boat service to see the red lotus fields and bird watching along the nature path and have group management together and 3) The application of the Saranee Dharma principle as a guideline to promote the process of people's participation in tourism management according to the community way in Bueng Lahan District Chaturat District Chaiyaphum Province including helping each other.
