Abstract

This academic article consists of purposes to present the concept of STEM Education to STEAM Education, STEAM Education concept, early childhood education with STEAM Education to early childhood classrooms with familiar local stories. and presenting a guideline for organizing experiences based on the concept of STEAM Education together with the Pattani Heritage Curriculum Framework for kindergarten level in Pattani Province for kindergarten teachers’ study and use it as a guideline for designing classroom experience plans in accordance with the local context, consisting of 2 steps: 1) an analysis of the content that should be learned in the early childhood curriculum in conjunction with the Pattani Heritage Curriculum Framework; Design activities, media, and assessments for organizing experiences based on the selected modules. There are 3 phases: In phase 1, the teacher uses the sub-modules selected as the unit to write a description and what the students will learn. 2 Design to define behaviors based on the STEAM concept, and Phase 3, apply the behaviors to design experiences for 6 main activities, detailing each activity.
