A Needs Assessment of Teaching in Basketball Subject of Physical Education Teacher of Secondary School Students in During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Epidemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the need for teaching basketball courses of secondary physical education teachers during the coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic. Is Quantitative Research The sample group consisted of 28 physical education teachers using a specific method. The tool used in this research was the needs questionnaire. Data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and prioritization of needs using the Modified Priority Needs Index method. The results showed that The first necessities of each aspect were learning objectives, which were morality PNI modified = 0.21, content, were basic skills PNI modified = 0.33, and procedures for managing physical education learning , which were applied / playing games PNI modified = 0.16 The readiness of teaching media is documents, books and textbooks PNI modified = 0.17 Assessment measurement is skills PNI modified = 0.14 and the characteristics of physical education teachers are that he is knowledgeable in information media and digital PNI modified = 0.12.
