Abstract

This research consists purposes 1. to study the level of student-centered learning management for teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma School, Department of General Education in Surin Province. 2. to compare the level of student-centered learning management of teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma School, Department of General Education in Surin classified by status, educational background, and teaching experience and 3. to study the guidelines for the development of student-centered learning management for teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma schools, Department of General Education in Surin. It is a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research. The population in this research was 102 teachers in Phra Pariyattham school in Surin Province, by studying the total population. The instrument used in the research was a questionnaire with a confidence value equal to 0. 93. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation statistics. Then the information was gathered with the interview form to be analyzed by a descriptive essay. The research results were found that 1) the level of learning management that was learner-centered among the teachers in Phra Pariyatidharma School, Department of General Education in Surin province, overall was at the highest level (μ = 4.55; σ = 0.15), and when considered individually, it was found at the highest level of all four aspects, in descending order of mean as follows: measurement and evaluation ( μ = 4.57; σ = 0.12), media and innovation (μ = 4.56; σ = 0.16), learning management (μ = 4.54; σ = 0.18) and teaching preparation (μ = 4.53; σ = 0. 16) 2) The results of comparative analysis of the learner-centered learning management of the teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma School Department of General Education in Surin province, classified by status and teaching experience, found that the overall and individual aspects were different. And for the educational background, it was found out that overall there were no differences while considering each aspect, there were differences. and 3) Thus, the guidelines for the Department of General Education in Surin province should study the curriculum, prepare the learning management plan, design teaching, and learning activities appropriate for the learners, create diverse media and innovations. Moreover, they should design a wide variety of accurate measurements and evaluations to know the learning achievement of the learners.
