The Study on Knowledge and Attitude for Election Management of Council Members Mayor and in Warin Chamrap Municipality 2021.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1. To study knowledge level 2. To study the opinion level of municipal staff, employees, and workers of Warin Chamrap Municipality, and 3. To study the problems, obstacles, suggestions, and guidelines for problem solutions in local election management. is a quantitative research. The sample group was municipal employees. 139 person full-time employees and employers of Warin Chamrap Municipality from specific selection The research tool was a questionnaire. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed by using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and compared by t-test and F-test statistical test. The results of this study were as follows 1) The level of knowledge of the target group in local election management was in the middle level with the percentage of 65.27 (x̅= 3.65) 2) The opinion of the target group in local election management was found with an overall level at a high-level (x̅= 4.13) and 3) the study of the problems, obstacles, suggestions, and guidelines for problem solutions in the performance of duties include problems of unclear rules and regulations in the operation. The places where ballots were sent and received on the pre-election day and election day, that were quite inadequate. Election budget management and planning do not cover expenses. The meeting of local election should hold more for each committee, publicize more in medias form and promote the electoral campaign with participation principle.
