Abstract

This research consists purposes 1. to study the current situation. and the needs of the elderly in the development of the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center and the New Theory Agriculture Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Mae Sot to be a sustainable learning resource 2. To develop a sustainable learning resource model on the sufficiency economy that is suitable for the elderly and 3. to assess the satisfaction of the model of sustainable learning resource on the sufficiency economy suitable for the elderly. by using the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center and New Theory Agriculture Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Mae Sot is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. There are research tools such as questionnaires and interview forms. The sample group consisted of 17 people and the target group of 50 people, which samples were obtained by specific randomization. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and the data gathered from the interview form for content analysis. The results showed that 1) to provide academic services and work on projects that related to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and initiated by His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. 2) The elderlies’ needs were to be educated about management, and 3) to have a sustainable learning center that generates income for elderly, improves community products, acts as a shopping hub for elderly’s products, and promotes agriculture jobs. Regarding the learning stations, 7 stations were developed, which were (1) King's Philosophy (2) Cleaning Liquid (3) Biological Fertilizer (4) Renewable Energy (5) Vegetables and Herbs, (6) Earthworm Farming and (7) Craftsmanship Handmade. The elderlies’ satisfaction evaluation showed that the Vegetables and Herbs station was the most satisfied station for the elderlies, with a mean score of (x̅= 4.13)
