Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1. To analyze how the measures to reduce the burning of sugarcane that affect the livelihoods of sugarcane farmers Tha Sawan Village Tha Sawan Sub-district, Na Duang District Loei Province and 2. To adjust the way of life of sugarcane farmers in Tha Sawan Village Tha Sawan Subdistrict, Na Duang District Loei Province, is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. The sample group was representatives of the sugar cane farming households. Tha Sawan Village Tha Sawan Sub-district Na Duang District Loei Province, a total of 76 people came from the calculation of the sample size using the Taro Yamane formula and the research tools were questionnaires, interview forms. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using statistical statistics Descriptive consists of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and compared by t-test and F-test, and the data collected from interview form for content analysis The results showed that 1) Analysis of measures to reduce sugarcane burning and the adjustment of livelihoods of sugarcane farmers Tha Sawan Village Tha Sawan Sub-district Na Duang District Loei Province, overall were at a moderate level (x̅ = 3.08) and 2) the adjustment in the way of living of sugar cane farmers in Tha Sawan Village. Tha Sawan Subdistrict Na Duang District Loei Province found that it affects the economy and society. from changing the way of living of sugarcane farmers in accordance with government measures to factors that increase costs and incur household debt In addition, the policy does not respond to the needs of farmers. In addition, the sugar factory still buys fire cane. However, government officials are not strictly under the control of the state. As a result, sugarcane farmers are still using the method of cutting fire cane. But the adoption of such measures has contributed to sugarcane farmers adapting to the labor shortage. by modifying sugarcane reduce the area of ​​sugarcane planting Cultivation of crops and other occupations to be able to continue living with sugarcane farming.
