The samples were 2 groups of 1) 3 experts and local philosophers and 3 descendants of Phutai music culture selected by the purposive sampling method. The qualitative analysis was used in data analysis and result presentation. The result of the study indicates that there were both internal and external factors affecting changes in Phutai music culture in Kuchinarai district, Kalasin province. Particularly, 1) the internal factors were social changes, changes in modern music arrangement, trends in ignoring local cultures, and old-fashioned hand by hand instruction. 2) The external factors included inter-social interaction and exposure of online cultures. Therefore, a society remains as it has its own regulations and principles which later become cultures. These norms become standardized practices among people in the society.
