Participation of Local Environment Volunteer in Solid Waste Management of Community in Warin Chamrap Municipality.

The purposes of this study were 1. To study the level of knowledge of local volunteers to save the world in community solid waste management in Warin Chamrap municipality; 2. To study the level of participation of local volunteers to save the world in community solid waste management in Warin Chamrap municipality; and 3. To study problems and obstacles Suggestions and guidelines for solving problems of people's participation in community solid waste management in Warin Chamrap municipality It is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. Research tools include questionnaires and interviews. The sample group was 177 local volunteers who saved the world from Warin Chamrap Municipality from the sample size calculation. Using the Taro Yamane formula at an error of 0.01 and a target group of 20 people from a specific selection. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. Then use the information gathered from the interview form for content analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Knowledge level of local volunteers to save the world in community solid waste management There was a moderate level of knowledge (mean 0.75) 75.71% 2) the level of participation of local volunteers to save the world in community solid waste management Overall, the average was at a high level (mean 4.25) when considering each item. The item with the highest average was the supply of trash in the house at the highest level (average 4.84), followed by the payment of garbage collection fees at the highest level (average 4.68) and the use of cloth bags. to replace plastic bags at the highest level (mean 4.58). The item with the lowest mean was the separation of food waste for bio-fermentation at a moderate level (mean 3.44) and 3) Problems, obstacles, recommendations and Approaches to solving the problem of public participation in community solid waste management consisted of 3.1) recommending the collection of solid waste for a period of time, 3.2) collecting it regularly, and 3.3) promoting more waste segregation.
