Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1. To study the social welfare provision for the elderly of Ket Chaiyo Subdistrict Municipality, Chaiyo District, Ang Thong Province and 2. To study the model of social service provision for the elderly of Ket Chaiyo Subdistrict Municipality, Chaiyo District, Ang Thong Province. It is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. There are research tools such as questionnaires and interview forms. The sample consisted of 232 elderly people living in Ketchaiyo Subdistrict Municipality, calculated by Taro Yamane's formula, and the target group was those involved in social welfare provision for the elderly of the Sub-District Municipality. Ketchaiyo, a total of 16 people who came from a specific selection. The data were collected from the questionnaire research tool to analyze the data by using a statistical package consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and an interview form to analyze the data in terms of content The results showed that 1) Proper social welfare arrangements for the elderly Overall, it was at a high level (x ̅=4.41). The elderly have a need for social welfare arrangements. Health is the first priority. Social Service Section Want to provide the elderly pension as much as possible work and income Older people want to receive support for their occupational budget. for recreation Want to organize tourism activities both in and out of provinces Residential Want a foster family for the homeless Education and learning section Seniors want to provide lifelong education for seniors in various courses and mobile library services in the community. and social security Most of the elderly want to use the knowledge gained from participating in the project to benefit social and community development and 2) The model of social service provision for the elderly found that appropriate social welfare arrangements for the elderly There should be guidelines for providing welfare that are suitable for the elderly in each age group.
