The Environmental Justice under the Forest Plantation implementation: The case study of Mueang Ling sub-district Chomphra District Surin province.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1. To study environmental justice under the process of forest plantation in Mueang Ling Subdistrict ChomPhara District Surin Province and 2. To study and recommend the promotion of environmental justice under the process of forest plantation. In the area of ​​ Mueang Ling Sub-district Chom Phara District Surin Province It is a qualitative research, which has a research tool which is an in-depth interview with a sample of 26 people who came from a specific selection. Then the data obtained were analyzed by using the Nvivo program and other parts of the data were analyzed in Content Analysis. The results of the research were as follows: 1) Forest plantation in Mueang Ling sub-district It reflects the existence of three aspects of environmental justice: distributed environmental justice. Process environmental justice And 2) to suggest the promotion of environmental justice under the forest plantation process in Mueang Ling district namely 2.1) Process Environmental Justice Guidelines. The law gives people the right to check information of government agencies, both regional and local government agencies. It can be divided into 2 parts: (1) the government sector has various forms of public relations and distribution (2) the distribution of information on the part of the people and 3) the adoption of environmental justice guidelines. All people are able to plant a forest plantation and can apply for forest registration, but must comply with the Forest Plantation Act, such as a project to promote forest plantation, distribute seedlings, etc.
