Problems and obstacles of Establishment Bua Yai Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research articles were 1) to study the background of the establishment of Bua Yai Province 2) to study the problems and obstacles of establishment of Bua Yai Province. It is documentary research by researching and collecting data from books, textbooks and newspaper news. The researcher uses the information obtained from the research and compiles the document to analyze the answers through principles, concepts and related theories. The results of the research revealed that 8 districts in the establishment of Bua Yai Province consist of various districts, namely Bua Yai, Bua Lai, Sida Prathai, Kaeng Sanam Nang, Non Daeng, Khong, and Ban Lueam, also known as “Dan Nok District Group” Efforts are being made to establish or raise the level of “Bua Yai Province” where the first time of the establishment of Bua Yai Province occurred in 1955 and during the period after that movement was found related to the establishment of Bua Yai both from the government and the people in the area until 2013. There was a movement to support the establishment of Bua Yai province again, but the matter was not approved in the establishment of Bua Yai Province except for the first time proposing the establishment of the province during the Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram. The proposal of the establishment of Bua Yai Province led to the issue of conflicts among the supportive people and the opposition groups becoming the problems and obstacles for the establishment of Bua Yai Province and found that the problems and obstacles consisted of many aspects whether it is on budget, staff manpower, public policy as well as opinions of the people group in Nakhon Ratchasima Province and in the 8 districts. And most importantly, it has been approved in the establishment of the province by the cabinet, the House of Representatives to enact the Act for the establishment of Bua Yai Province and there are different problems and obstacles in each request for the establishment of the province.
