Abstract

This research paper has the objectives 1. to study the level of requirements of the monks and the public who are interested in studying a Master of Buddhism program. In Chaiyaphum 2. Province to study recommendations for proposing requirements of monks and people interested in studying a Master of Buddhism Branch of Buddhism Chaiyaphum Province. It is a blended research between qualitative and quantitative research (Mixed Methods) with research tools such as questionnaire / interview / evaluation form / others. With sample groups / target groups Namely monks and people in Chaiyaphum Province, 16 districts, totaling 160 images / person from the calculation of the sample size /target group using the Taro Yamane formula at a tolerance level of 0.05 from random sampling ( Sampling Random), then the data collected from questionnaires were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Percentage, mean, standard deviation The results were compared by t-test and F-test (qualitative sample). Data collected from documents / literature / interviews / notes / observation / Other The analysis was content (Content Analysis). The research results showed that 1) Monks and people in Chaiyaphum Province There is a requirement to pursue a Master of Arts program. Chaiyaphum Sangha College Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Overall is at a high level. And when considering each aspect, it was found that there was a high level of demand for further education in 2 areas, sorted from the average to the lowest, namely, course implementation, 3.88 average, and attitude towards Buddhist disciplines, mean average 3.60 There was a moderate level of requirements for further education in one area, namely the readiness for education towards the mean of 3.25 2) The suggestion of monks and people interested in studying for the Master of Buddhism program. Chaiyaphum Sangha College Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University found that there was a suggestion on the readiness for further study, found that the tuition fee installment should be made to reduce the burden of study. There should be a book in each course for those interested in further study. In the implementation of the course (course), it was found that teachers should be arranged to have a communication channel for coordination. And should encourage those interested in further study to have a communication channel As for the attitude towards Buddhist disciplines, it was found that the curriculum should be promoted continuously. And should have further education guidance.
