Factors Affecting the Development Enhancement of Ecclesiastical School Students in Surin Province.

The purposes of this study were 1. The student development’s level at the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools in Surin. 2. factors affecting the development of students in the Buddhist Scripture School in Surin province and 3. Suggestions in developing students in the Phrapariyattidhamma School in Surin. Samples were those who were involved with the Buddhist Scripture School. In Surin province, consisted of 274 people, calculated from Yamane formulation and data was collected by using a questionnaire. Statistics used in analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation, and multiple linear regression analysis with enter method. Statistics used in analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation, and multiple linear regression analysis with enter method. Research results found that the student development’s level, in overall, was in high level. Factors statistically affected the development of students in the Buddhist Scripture School in Surin province at the significant level of .01 were found in 4 factors, arranged by coefficient from most to least were; 1) Teaching and learning system factor (β = .201) 2) Teachers factor (β = .189) 3) Students factor (β = .174) and 4) Family factor (β = .141) which explained the variation correctly 60.50 % (R2 = .605). Suggestions in developing students in the Phrapariyattidhamma School in Surin were; Should have sufficient computers for students (f = 53). Should have sources of scholarships for students (f = 52) and teachers should have better atmosphere for learning (f = 45).
