Royal Speech of the King and Conflict Management in Thai Society

Abstract
Humans are social animals living together in a society where the smallest units are families and larger ones are communities and other institutions. Society, with different parenting and culture, beliefs, faiths, ideologies and values, thus, varies that may lead to conflicts. Those involving in conflicts should, therefore, have skills, knowledge, techniques, and how to resolve the conflict in a particular situation by considering the wider and deeper causes of the conflict regarding the relationship of powers that exist in society. By using the troubleshooting process of all parties under an atmosphere of democracy, the royal speech of His Majesty the King needs to be adopted in conflict reconciliation. The given speech Includes harmony, compassion, mutual support, courtesy complementary, best wishes for the common growth, consultation with the intelligence, sharing ideas, participation, loving kindness, forgiveness, not being offended, providing relief, pleasing each other with purity and sincerity based on justice, accuracy, integrity, ethics, empathy, respecting and honoring humans, using the principle of reconciliation with intelligence. All these factors help preventing and effectively managing conflicts that may occur in society.
