Abstract

Competition in modern times depends on the ability of organizations to create and use intangible assets such as knowledge, technology and organizational culture to enhance their quality, new services, creating innovation to needs and customer expectations accurately and quickly and the organization's ability to create and maintain a competitive advantage depends on the organization's ability to continually circulate learning in the organization, which can only happen when the organization has a systematic process to find, create, collect, store, publish, broadcast, share and use knowledge. This process is Knowledge Management (KM).


Knowledge Management is the concept of creating a learning organization that is to enable people in the organization to learn various factors that affects both internal and external organizations to be used for self-development and organizational operations. Knowledge management is a very popular concept, one of which many organizations are keen on knowledge management and it is assumed that it may be one of the key factors in their success in the future or it could be said that it is a learning organization that has modified and searched for new ways in the manufacture products or services. This will bring an increase in the effectiveness of the operation of the organization. In this regard, for an organization to be able to learn to develop effectively, there must always be knowledge management.
