Guideline for Promoting People's Participation in the Administration of Subdistrict Administration Organization in the Muang district of Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research “Guideline for Promoting People's Participation in the Administration of Subdistrict Administration Organization in the Muang district of Nakhon Sawan Province” were to study people's participation in the administration of Subdistrict Administration Organization in the Muang district of Nakhon Sawan Province, and to find the guideline for promoting people's participation in the administration of Subdistrict Administration Organization in the Muang district of Nakhon Sawan Province. The results were found as follows:

1. People participated in the administration at a moderate level. When considering each aspect, it was found that all aspects were at a medium level. Each aspect was sorted out from the highest average to the lowest: participation in receiving benefits, participation in operations, participation in planning, and participation in monitoring and evaluation.


2. The Subdistrict Administration Organization in Mueang district of Nakhon Sawan Province should have the guidelines as follows: there should have guidelines for promoting public relations to inform for people with the rights and benefits from participation in the Subdistrict Administration Organization; there should have encouragement to the people to have more knowledge and understanding of people’s participation in local government; there should have the campaign to raise consciousness for awareness among the people about the importance of participation; there should have the workshop stage arrangement so that people could learn the common process for problem-solving and development of the area; there should have the creation of people networks and agencies for continuous communication in order to participate in problem management and development together; there should be more people joining the committee related to the administration of various tasks; people should be involved in public relations activities or projects; and there should be more opportunities for people to participate in monitoring and examination of the administration.
