Abstract
The researcher conducted the research into 2 processes: 1) the study of community needs for participating in guidance operations. A total of 303 samples were selected from community representatives in the Basic Education Board, including guardian representatives, qualified persons, community organizations representatives, alumni representatives, religious representatives, local government organizations representatives of schools under The Office of Ayutthaya Primary Education Area 2. The sample size were determined by using Taro Yamane formula. The research instruments were a survey of community needs to participate in guidance operations for schools under the Office of Ayutthaya Primary Education Area 2, and a five-rating scale questionnaire with a confidence value equivalent to .96. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean and standard deviation; and 2) the suggestions of guidelines for promoting community participation in guidance operations. The population was 161 directors of schools under the Office of Ayutthaya Primary Education Area 2. The research instruments were a suitability and possibility questionnaire of practical implementation of guidelines for promoting participation in guidance operations according to community needs for schools under the Office of Ayutthaya Primary Education Area 2, and a five-rating scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean of population, and standard deviation. The results of the study were as follows:
