Application of Sappurisadhamma in Administration Of Administrative Monks in Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

This thesis has the following objectives: 1) to study the application of Sappurisadhamma in promoting the administration of Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province, 2) to compare the application of Sappurisadhamma in promoting the administration of Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province with different age, educational level, and position, and 3) to study the guidelines for applying Sappurisadhamma in promoting the administration of Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province. 130 samples of 192 Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi were obtained by using the table of Taro Yamane. The data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, F-test or One-way ANOVA and LSD method.

               The findings were as follows; 

                 1.The level of application of Sappurisadhamma in promoting the administration of Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province in 7 areas was high overall.  From descending to the highest mean, it started with knowing the individual, followed by knowing the law, and knowing oneself respectively.

1. By analyzing the comparison results, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province with different ages, years in monkhood, general educational levels, Dhamma educational levels applied Sappuraisadhamma in their administration indifferently. But the Sangha administrators with different positions applied Sappuraisadhamma in their administration differently with a significantly statistic figure at 0.05


2. Recommendations on the application of Sappurisadhamma in promoting the administration of Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province are classified as follows:

                        1) In knowing the law, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should be able to analyze and classify reasonably.

                        2) In knowing the meaning, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should have commitment and patience in observing Buddhism.

                        3) In knowing oneself, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should understand leadership in Sangha administration.

                        4) In knowing how to be temperate, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should plan and implement the plan for Sangha administration.

                        5) In knowing the proper time, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should classify and prioritize the problems happened.

                        6) In knowing the society, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should focus on the development of morality and ethics to Buddhists.

                        7) In knowing the individual, the Sangha administrators in Nonthaburi Province should support and encourage eligible people to participate in Sangha administration.
