Application of Saraniyadhamma in work of Laemchabang City Municipality Personnel, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis were as follows: 1) to study the opinion on the application of Saraniyadhamma in work of Laemchabang City Municipality personnel, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, 2) to compare the application of Saraniyadhamma in work of Laemchabang City Municipality personnel classified by their gender, age, educational level, and monthly income, and 3) to propose a guideline of the application of Saraniyadhamma in work of Laemchabang City Municipality personnel, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. The mixed research methods were used in the study. The data were collected by questionnaires from 253 samples and by in-depth interviews with 5 key-informants. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA. The LSD was used to testify the results with significantly statistic differences.


The results of the study found that:


               1) The opinion on the application of Saraniyadhamma in work of personnel in Laemchabang City Municipality Personnel, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, was at a high level in 6 aspects overall. The first three high levels started with being amiable in thought, followed by keeping without blemish the rules of conduct along with one’s fellows, and being endowed with right views along with one’s fellows respectively.


               2) The personnel with different genders, educational levels, and monthly income had opinion on the application of Saraniyadhamma in work indifferently, but those with different ages had different levels of opinion on the application of Saraniyadhamma in work with significantly statistic figure at 0.05


               3) The results of the interviews indicated that the administration of infrastructure is the main factor in local development concerning economic, society, culture, and stability. The personnel must have unity and reconciliation, hospitality to each other, treat and communicate to each other politely, love and sacrifice to the organization, try to learn new things, have public mind, know how to integrate work together, be sincere and honest to the duty, follow the rule of law, listen to different ideas and opinions, and be ready to work in the same direction. These factors can support and lead the work to success and response the needs of people.
