THE STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT OF CAREER PATH FOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS, RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY THANYABURI

Abstract
This research aimed 1) to study the internal environment analysis of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, 2) to study the strategy of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and 3) to examine the practicality of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.
The sample in this research consisted of 226 people, deriving from the administrative officers of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi who were the civil servants in higher education institutions and university employees in the general positions and specific professional positions or specialization positions. The research instruments were questionnaire and interview form by the content analysis. The statistics for data analysis were composed of frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results indicated that 1) the internal environment analysis of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi showed that the knowledge-training provision in the internal environment analysis of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi have not been thorough enough. There were grants to support the production of certain types of performances and reward the recipients who had career path, 2) the strategy of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi showed that the university strategies included organizing the work structure in accordance with workloads and positions, supporting workshops for career path, and supporting performance grants every year. The agency strategies consisted of the clear task assignment according to the job description, encouragement to employees to attend the training seminars related to career path, and guideline preparation for the clear job-placement requirements. The individual strategies consisted of inspiration for career path and participation in workshops, various types of manuscript writing for regular positions. The result of examination for the practicality of the development of career path for administrative officers, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi revealed a high-level possibility of practice as a whole, namely, university strategies, individual strategies, and agency strategies, respectively.
