A STUDY OF TEACHERS’ SATISFACTION TOWARD ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION OF NAKHONSAWANRAJABHAT UNIVERSITY DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL

Abstract

This research is aimed to study teachers’ satisfaction toward academic administration of NakhonSawanRajabhat University Demonstration School and propose the suggestion in academic administration of NakhonSawanRajabhat University Demonstration School. The population was39 teachers. Research tool was questionnaire which divided into three parts: first part was questions about background in form of Checklist, Part two was questions about academic administration of NakhonSawanRajabhat University Demonstration School in form of Rating Scale which verified by experts with reliability at 0.97, and Part three was recommendation on academic administration of NakhonSawanRajabhat University Demonstration School. The statistics used to interpret the data were Frequency, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation (S.D.). 


              The results show as follows.


              1.Teachers have high level of satisfaction toward academic administration in all criteria especially in learning management process followed by curriculum, measurement and evaluation, supervision respectively.


              2.The suggestion in academic administration: in curriculum criteria showed that school should provide the training program to teachers in curriculum and implantation of curriculum with workshop and promote teachers to other training program which organized by related organizations. The supervision and closed following the performance, encouraging, and helping to solve problems should provide to teachers. Teachers shared their opinions at the end of the academic year in learning management process. Teachers should be educated or trained in acquired knowledge, analyzed, and discussed from experts and experienced persons in learning management for all participants to think and practice together. Provide a discussion of the learning outcomes, managing human resources development, budgeting for the development of the learning management process should be organized and supervised.


              Summarize results of the data in terms of objective, accurate, and reliability. The opportunity for everyone to cooperate should provide in term of individual's ability to understand the problems and needs of the teacher to interacts with teachers as much as possible and avoid supervision as a formal. Measurement and evaluation: teachers should be instructed in the quality assurance of instruments, followed up supervised with the authentic assessmentshould provide. The development of equipment, materials, documents, regulations, manuals for the teachers, and the evaluation plans of each subject shouldrelated and accordance to the educational standards, core subject areas, learning units, lesson plans, and learning activities management.
