Informal Workers , Hawker Stall Group Management in Chonburi Province

Abstract

Abstract

The objectives of this article are 1) to analyze the situation of Informal Workers , Hawker Stall Group Management in Chonburi Province 2) To identify the problem of managing of Informal Workers , Hawker Stall Group Management 3) To propose guidelines for managing informal labor among hawker stalls in Chonburi Province, this is a qualitative research: Key informants using the purposive selection method , a total of 23 persons, government officials, including senior government officials and executives of department of Welfare and Labor protection Ministry of Labor, local government policy on community, informal workers , hawker stall group in Chonburi Province ,collected data using in-depth interviews and analyzed by using content analysis .The results showed that 1) Informal sector workers have the right to freedom of access to rights and basic public services as provided. in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, there is equality and justice in the provision of public services. Social protection from the state according to each context and legal relations between informal workers and other persons. As for the legal measures to protect workers, the basics are to be protected according to the legal measures. 2) The problem of managing informal labor in the stall-picking group are public health problem , way of life , safety, security  ,occupational environment, climate change, social problem, customer service  , community ,policy problem management and the occupational environment of  hawker stall is the visual pollution 3) guidelines for managing informal labor among hawker stalls are improving and develop of the information for Informal workers , establish the public and private networking for managing hawker stalls in the community by using Local Government is the main core , providing service unit to contributions for informal workers , hawker stall group in community areas , providing knowledge center for knowledge sharing in communication marketing customer service , promote and support to access financial fund such as cooperation or government bank ,develope and create networking of information and technology for informal workers organization,  develope the authorities of social protection and security for  informal workers Hawker Stall Group to become insured according to Section 40.
