Abstract

The research aimed at studying a school management model by integration of the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school of the lower northeastern region, and at examining the efficiency of a school management model by integration the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school of the lower northeastern region. Research procedures consisted of the synthesis of related documents as well as researches which led to the formation of research framework. Then, the researcher created an interview questionnaire to collect data from experts in order to draft a school management model by integration the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school. The model was then improved based on the suggestions offered by the experts during focus group discussions on the appropriateness of the draft. A questionnaire was created in accompany with the model and after trying out, it was used with 358 samples to inquire about the model practicality. The results were affirmed by the experts before it became the model of school management by integument by integration the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school of the lower northeastern region.

The Research findings were as follow :

The school management model by integration of the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school of the lower northeastern region consisted of four essential aspects of academic management, human resource management, budget management, general management. The appropriateness of the school management model by integration of the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school was generally in high leve ( x =3.96). The aspects with the appropriateness in the first high level was general management ( x =4.09). The appropriateness of the other aspects was all in high level ranking from the first to the last : human resource management (x = 4.03 ), budget management (x = 3.91 )  , academic management (x = 3.85 ) .

The practicality of the model of school management by integration of the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school was generally in a high level (x =4.02) . When considered in each particular characteristic, each individual one was in a high level as well ranking from the first to last : academic management(x=4.04),general management (x = 4.03 ),human resource management (x = 4.00), budget management(x=3.99),

          The percentage of 89-100 affirmed by the experts during the last focus group discussions and then was approved as the model of school management by integration of the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the private elementary school of the lower northeastern region.
