The Strategic Leadership of School Administrators that Affects the Effectiveness of Small Schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the strategic leadership of school administrators 2. to study the effectiveness of small schools 3. to study the relationship between the strategic leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of small schools and 4. to study the impact of strategic leadership of school administrators on the effectiveness of small schools under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 2. This is a quantitative research study using a questionnaire as the research instrument, with a sample of 32 school administrators and 254 teachers, totaling 286 participants, determined using Taro Yamane formula (1970). The data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis using the enter method (simultaneous entry of all variables). The research findings revealed that 1) The strategic leadership of school administrators, both overall and in each aspect, was at a high level (x̄ = 4.25, S.D. = 0.63) 2) the overall effectiveness of small schools was at a high level, with 3 aspects at a high level and 1 aspect at a moderate level 3) the strategic leadership of school administrators in all aspects. There is a moderate positive correlation with the effectiveness of small schools and 4) strategy implementation (X4), organizational direction (X1), achievement orientation (X3) and organizational culture building (X2) are statistically significant at the .05 level. These four predictors together can predict the effectiveness of small schools significantly at the .05 level by 36.8%.
