Guidelines for Developing the Value Chain of the Ban Kut Rang Silk Weaving Community Enterprise Group Kut Rang Subdistrict Kut Rang District MahaSarakham Province

This research consists purposes were 1. to analyze the current situation regarding the value chain development of the Ban Kutrang Silk Weaving Community Enterprise Group Kutrang Sub-district Kutrang District MahaSarakham Province and 2. to develop value chain strategies for the Ban Kutrang Silk Weaving Community Enterprise Group Kutrang Sub-district Kutrang District MahaSarakham Province. This study employs a mixed methods research design, combining both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research instruments include questionnaires and interviews. The sample consists of 385 members of the Ban Kutrang Silk Weaving Community Enterprise Group Kutrang Sub-district Kutrang District MahaSarakham Province determined using W.G. Cochran’s (1953) formula and selected through convenience sampling. Additionally, two key informants were purposively selected as the target group. The data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean and standard deviation. Meanwhile, the data obtained from documents and interviews were analyzed using content analysis. Research findings revealed that 1) Entrepreneurs of the Ban Kutrang Silk Weaving Community Enterprise Group Kutrang Sub-district Kutrang District MahaSarakham Province expressed their opinions on the development of the organizational infrastructure value chain. Overall, the level of opinion was high (x̅ = 3.77, S.D. = 0.20) and 2) The approaches to value chain development of the Ban Kutrang Silk Weaving Community Enterprise Group Kutrang Sub-district Kutrang District MahaSarakham Province consisted of 2.1) Inbound logistics 2.2) Operations 2.3) Outbound logistics 2.4) Marketing and sale 2.5) Customer service 2.6) Procurement 2.7) Technology development and 2.8) Human resource management.
