Development of Program to Enhance Digital Leadership of School Administrators under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

This research purposes were 1. to study the current conditions, the desirable conditions, and the needs of the digital leadership of school administrators under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office and 2. to design and evaluate digital leadership program to enhance digital leadership of the school administrators under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office. This study employed a mixed methods approach, integrating both quantitative and qualitative research. The research instruments included a questionnaire and an interview form. The sample consisted of 314 participants, determined using the table by Krejcie, R. V., and Morgan, D. W. (1970) and selected through stratified random sampling based on school size. Additionally, a targeted group of 5 key informants was selected using purposive sampling. Data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean and standard deviation. Data obtained from documents and interviews were analyzed using content analysis. The research results revealed that 1) The current state of digital leadership enhancement of school administrators under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office as a whole was in the high level (x̅= 3.52, S.D. = 0.56). As for the desirable conditions was in the highest level (x̅= 4.88, S.D. = 0.28) and the priority of needs was sorted in descending order including digital competency (PNImodified = 0.429), digital vision (PNImodified = 0.371) and digital communication (PNImodified = 0.367) and 2) The digital leadership enhancement program for school administrators under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office consisted of 1) principles 2) objectives 3) content 4) development methods 5) measurement and evaluation. The content consists of 3 modules which were module 1 digital competency, module 2 digital vision and module 3 digital communication. The overall assessment results of the program were at the highest suitability level (x̅= 4.65, S.D. = 0.33) and at the highest feasibility level (x̅= 4.71, S.D. = 0.45).
