This research consists purposes were 1. to study the history of the long drums of the villagers of Ban Non Phiban Community Ka Dam District Maha Sarakham Province and 2. to study the dance movements and long drum dance patterns of the villagers of Ban Non Phiban Community Ka Dam District Maha Sarakham Province. This is a qualitative research The research instruments are interviews and observation forms The target group of the research is 7 people who were selected purposively. The data collected from various documents, interviews and observation forms were then content analysis. The research results found that 1) the history of the long drum of the villagers of Ban Non Phiban community Ka Dam district Maha Sarakham province is a performance of the art of dancing (dancing) that often includes the playing of a long drum. In each performance, there will be dancing to the rhythm of the long drum, which is the main instrument that makes the dance powerful and lively. The long drum dance is a performance that combines dance and music harmoniously and 2) The dance moves and the long drum dance styles of the villagers of Ban Non Phiban community Ka Dam district Maha Sarakham province found that the performers usually wear brightly colored Isan local costumes. Young women wear khit-patterned sarongs or local fabrics, and men wear local-patterned clothes. These costumes reflect the beauty of Isan culture. The dance moves emphasize soft hand movements and feet that follow the rhythm of the music. The dance is usually a circular or row-like movement, with the dancers facing forward and moving together harmoniously.
