Abstract

This research consists purposes were to study and analyze the management of beauty pageants, especially the strategies used in management and the impact on the development of the entertainment industry in terms of marketing. The results of the study found that effective management of beauty pageants requires good planning in terms of marketing strategies, the use of technology to create awareness, and effective connection with the audience. In addition the impact of beauty pageants can also affect the image of the entertainment industry and can create opportunities for economic and social growth. Beauty pageants also affect the development of the entertainment industry through stimulating the economy, inspiring youth, and promoting cultural identity. The challenges that must be faced are adapting to social trends such as gender diversity and women's roles, as well as managing audience expectations that change with the times. In addition this study is useful in providing guidelines for beauty pageant managers and those involved in the entertainment industry. The implementation of appropriate strategies can increase management efficiency and create marketing value for international beauty pageants. This study also aims to analyze the management of beauty pageants as a strategic tool that affects the development of the entertainment industry. It was found that beauty pageants are not just a beauty contest stage, but also an important mechanism for branding, creating career opportunities, and linking with other businesses such as fashion, advertising and mass media. The main strategies used in management include developing the image of contestants, creating stories (Storytelling) to add value to the brand, and using digital platforms to expand the audience and sponsor base.
