Abstract

This academic consists purposes were to study survey general characteristics of construction project managers in private companies within Bangkok. It focuses on professional profiles, work experience, necessary skills, and the current challenges or issues faced by construction project managers. The study method involves reviewing various academic documents related to construction project management guidelines to ensure the projects' success within time, budget, and quality efficiently. Over the past two decades, Bangkok has experienced economic expansion and an increase in construction projects, leading to a higher demand for professional construction project management. This is to handle the growing complexity of projects. Therefore, studying the knowledge, skills, and experience of project managers is crucial for enhancing workforce efficiency overall and for future personnel. The study findings reveal those general characteristics of project managers, such as education, professional experience, necessary job skills, and encountered problems, provide beneficial insights for developing policies and training for future project managers. The study also enhances understanding of the trends and challenges in the Bangkok construction industry effectively promoting continuous and greater efficiency in construction project management.
