Abstract

This academic article presents the increasing popularity of faith tourism, especially the spiritual tourism group, which has adapted and developed new innovations to meet the tourism needs of specific groups of tourists. In adapting faith tourism communities in the digital age, is important for owners of faith sites to adapt to the changing behavior of tourists, whether by using online media and various digital platforms as tools to enhance the awareness process and connect the community with tourists more easily, such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to present activities, rituals, beliefs, or applications to present information on beliefs, history of the place, or rituals to tourists. In addition, spiritual tourists have adapted to access information and plan their trips more effectively, whether it is searching for information, communicating through online channels that are more convenient.
