Community-Based Spectacular Dance for Elevating Creative Tourism: Case study Karen Ethnic Group Ban Phu Nam Ron Ban Kha District Ratchaburi Province

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the form of dramatic dance by the community based on the ethnic culture of the western region and 2.to create a community model through creative tourism with spectacular dances. This is a qualitative research with an interview instrument as the research tool. The target group is 35 people who were selected through purposive sampling. The data collected from documents and interviews are content analysis. The results of the research found that 1) Ban Phu Nam Ron Community, Ban Bueng Subdistrict Ban Kha District Ratchaburi Province It is an area that is fertile. There are interesting tourist attractions. There is good art, culture and tradition. This research studied the community's tradition of eating wrapped rice and 2) Organizing events by the dance community in the traditional event of eating wrapped rice through organizing presentations and performances to tell stories about the local context The event included consumer products, safe food, and tourism public relations media. This article is part of the research on A spectacular dance form by the community to enhance creative tourism based on the ethnic culture of the western region.
