Ban Kom Inscription Relationships of People Around Phu Phrabat Historical Park the Beginning of the 22nd Century

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the relationships of people around Phu Phra Bat Historical Park. Early in the 22nd Buddhist century as a monk and 2. to study the historical development of the Ban Kom community towards the transmission of Buddhism in the present. This research is qualitative the research instrument is an interview form the target group is 15 people who were selected through purposive sampling The information gathered from interview forms and related documents were then content analysis. The results of the research found that 1) Phu Phrabat Historical Park It has importance and relationship to prehistoric humans and people in historical times which is an important milestone People search for sacred areas to use for activities based on their common beliefs. At the beginning of the 22nd Buddhist century onwards, evidence of many people appeared. Especially the form of local art that still shows many traces of the cultural influence of Lan Xang. Including the return of land and rice and traces of the culture of other national groups. which reflects the importance of Phu Phra Bat Historical Park and 2) Ban Kom Inscription It is one important piece of evidence that tells of the development and relationship of people who settled in the Phu Phra Bat area and has affected the sanctity of the area in the Phu Phra Bat Historical Park until the present. This research can be a database for studying nearby communities which have historical traces. Archeology during the same period can continue to study the importance and connections between ancient communities.
