Abstract

This research consists purposes were to create performances that promote tourism. On the learning base of community artisans in Nakhon Pathom Province is qualitative research. There is a research tool, namely an interview form, with a target group of 5 people drawn from a purposive selection. Then the data collected from the interviews were analyzed for content analysis. The research results found that Creating a performance that promotes tourism based on the knowledge of community artisans in Nakhon Pathom province consisting of 1) Wat Prong Maduea community woven cloth artisans, which is the way of life of the Thai people, with a history of weaving used since ancient times until At present, there are still many areas that are still preserved for weaving. 2) The Lao people of Wat Phrong Maduea community is a land that is rich in nature, religion and good arts and culture. It is an area that unites a variety of people, lifestyles, and ethnicities 3) Woven artisans and handicrafts in the Wat Prong Maduea community: The Wat Prong Maduea community has gathered to form a weaving group and established a center for learning and culture at Wat Prong. Figuea, Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province and 4) The method for weaving community fabric at Wat Phrong Maduea is step 1: Prepare the weaving machine, silk spools, shuttles and looms. Step 2: Prepare silk spools of various colors that you want to put into the shuttle groove by threading the silk thread from the silk spool through a small hole on the side of the bobbin and step 3: threading the rope from one of the looms onto one of the pedals and looping the rope The remaining horn was connected to the other pedal.
