A Career Development Strategy for Raising Quail in Ban Klang Subdistrict Panare District Pattani Province

Abstract

This research consists of purposes were 1. to study guidelines for developing the quail raising profession in Ban Klang Subdistrict Panare district Pattani Province 2. to transfer knowledge on developing food recipes for quails from local ingredients to increase the quality eggs and 3. to create a learning resource about quail raising in Ban Klang Subdistrict Panare District Pattani Province. This research is qualitative The research tool was interviews with the target group being 4 households interested in raising quail, which came from purposive sampling. The information gathered from interview forms and related documents were then content analysis. The research results found that 1) community raising quail group 2) the household had knowledge in simple quail feed formulas and herb fermented water using local resources. Following the implementation of the activities, additional quails have been purchased for raising. The households have generated an additional income and consuming the eggs of the birds and selling the quail manure, which can be used to improve soil quality and sold as fertilizer 3) the households engage in quail rearing to aid decision-making regarding increasing or decreasing the number of quail and serve as a learning resource within the community.
