Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the impacts of natural disasters in the area of Ekom Village Community, Terd Thai Sub - district, Thung Khao Luang District, Roi Et Province. Roi Et Province. is qualitative research. There are research tools, including interview forms. The target research group consisted of 15 people, all of whom were specifically selected the information gathered from documents literature and interviews was then analyzed using content analysis. The results of the study of 1) the impact of natural disasters found that the impacts of disasters are a threat to life and property. Affects society, economy, culture, environment and mind. of the victims in the Ban I Kom community area, which is affected by floods every year. It is a danger caused by flash flood conditions. It has a negative effect on life and property, mostly due to rain that accumulates for a long time until the water cannot drain out in time. There are 3 types of floods: (1) Water in rivers overflowing their banks when there is heavy rain (2) Flooding from heavy rain and (3) Flash floods in mountainous areas. and 2) the issue of natural disaster management guidelines. It was found that the public sector's disaster management before the disaster occurred was A disaster information public relations center has been established. And after a disaster occurs, an agency is established to care for and provide relief to people affected by the disaster.
