Development of Leaning Management Subject’s Basic Robotic Programming Based on STEAM Education Concept with ARDUINO Program 3rd Year Diploma Students

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to STEAM education concept learning management courses according to the criteria 80/80 2. to comparison of students' academic achievement during before and after learning that was managed 3. to Comparison of practical skills that were managed learning with the criteria of 80% and 4. to Study the commitment of students who have been taught learning. An example used is a 3rd year vocational certificate student in a major. Electrician, Roi Et Technical College enrolled in Basic robot 16 peoples. The research tools included (1) learning management plan based on the concept of STEAM Education (2) learning achievement test with learning management plan (3) practical skills assessment with learning management plan and (4) assessment of students' commitment to work Analyze data using statistics, including mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples. The study was resulted as follows 1) The efficiency of learning about programming the robot operation is 82.91/80.90 which meets the specified criteria 2) Practical skills achievement and commitment of learners who were taught after learning were higher than before learning, with statistical significance of .05 3) The average percentage of practical skills is the highest. It has a value of 82.06 and 4) Students have a high level of commitment to academic work (x̅= 4.66, S.D.=0.56) and self-control is at a great level (x̅= 4.63 S.D.=0.66) School support (x̅= 4.62, S.D. = 0.64), family support (x̅= 4.60, S.D. = 0.68) and peer support (x̅= 4.56, S.D. = 0.69).
