The Development of Learning Achievement in Reading Comprehension by Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique for Grade 7 Students.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to investigate efficiency of the lesson plan by Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique for Grade 7 Students with an efficiency of 75/75 2. to compare students pretest and posttest study reading Comprehension by Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique for Grade 7 Students and 3. to study students’ satisfaction toward learning by Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique for Grade 7 Students is a Quantitative research There is a research tool which is an 1) Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique  of 6 sub learning plans of 12 learning hours 2) achievement test for reading comprehension in Thai language designed to have 30 items of 4 multiple choices 3) a satisfaction questionnaire designed to have 10 question items The statistics used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation and t-test (dependent sample) The sample group was 40 students in MathayomSuksa 1/3 in the second semester of the academic year 2022 at Phadungnaree School,  Mahasarakham Province, obtained by cluster random sampling. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and compared by t-test. The results of research were as follows: 1) the lesson plan by Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique for Grade 7 Students had the efficiency of E1/E2 at 76.54/77.08 reaching the criteria of 75/75 2) compare students pretest and posttest study reading Comprehension by Using Brain Based Learning with Think Pair Share Technique for Grade 7 Students at a statistical level of .05 and 3) The students’ satisfaction toward the developed learning management was found at a high level (x̅= 4.36, S.D. = 0.63).
