Abstract

This research consists purposes were to develop OTOP products to be modern and meet market needs with the local identity of the Nonburi community Kalasin Province. It is survey research using a questionnaire as a tool for conducting research. There are 235 people in the research using the Taro Yamane (1973) at the error level of .05 obtained by means of random random sampling. Then the data collected from the questionnaire was analyzed in descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that Development of OTOP products to be up-to-date to meet market needs and have a unique identity of the Nonburi community. Kalasin Province consists of balancing production with natural resources (x̅ = 4.58), followed by creation and development of knowledge for producers (x̅ = 4.34), product (x̅ = 4.22) and production (x̅ = 4.20) respectively and strategies to increase the competitiveness of OTOP products in Kalasin province, consisting of differentiation strategies low cost marketing strategy and focus strategy, it was found that differentiation strategy (x̅ = 4.36), followed by attention strategy (x̅ = 4.25) and low-cost marketing strategy (x̅ = 4.15), respectively.
