The Development of Activity Learning by Inquiry Method (5E) with Social Media on the Physical Environment Population and Settlements of Grade 6 Students.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1. to Development of Activity Learning by Inquiry Method (5E) with social media on the physical environment population and settlements of Grade 6 students are effective based on the criteria of 80/80 2. to compare students' analytical thinking abilities before and after studying Using learning management activity learning by Inquiry Method (5E) with social media 3. to compare Grade 6 students pupils' learning accomplishments between before and after learning on physical environment, population and settlement. using learning of Activity Learning by Inquiry Method (5E) on with social media and 4. to study the satisfaction of Grade 6 students with Activity Learning by Inquiry Method (5E). The sample were 41 of grade 6 students in Chiangyuen Pittayakom School selected by cluster random sampling. The research instruments consisted of (1) A learning management plan using activity learning by Inquiry Method (5E) with social media totaling 13 plans (2) test that assesses analytical thinking abilities There are 15 items in total (3) Achievement test, multiple choice 4 options, 30 questions, (4) questionnaire on student satisfaction with learning activities, Activity Learning by Inquiry Method (5E) with social media with 15 items. The statistics used for data analysis were mean (x̅), standard deviation (S.D.) and Dependent Sample t-test. The results of the research revealed that 1) the development of activity learning by Inquiry method (5E) with social media on the physical environment, population, and settlements of grade 6 had an overall average of (x̅= 4.48) and efficiency of 81.05/ 81.13 2) the ability to think analytically  by of activity learning by Inquiry Method (5E) with social media after learning was higher than before learning at statistical significance at the .05 level 3) students have learning achievement using activity Learning by Inquiry method (5E) with Social Media that higher than before learning at statistical significance at the .05 level and 4) the satisfaction of Grade 6 students  to activity learning by Inquiry method (5E) with social media were at the highest level overall (x̅= 4.57, S.D. = 0.47).
