Public Welfare of the Sangha in Chaiyaphum Province on the Situation of the Epidemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. To study people's opinions on the public welfare of the Sangha Chaiyaphum Province in the situation of the epidemic of corona virus 2019 2. To study the guidelines for promoting public welfare of Chaiyaphum Sangha on the epidemic situation of corona virus 2019 and 3. To study the main implementation Sangahavat to apply in the public welfare of the Sangha in Chaiyaphum Province to the epidemic situation of the coronavirus disease 2019. is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. There are research tools, including questionnaires and interview forms. The sample consisted of 400 people from using the Taro Yamane formula (1973) and the target group of 30 people from specific selection. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and the data gathered from the interview form for content analysis. The results of the research found that 1) The level of public opinion towards the public welfare of the Sangha in Chaiyaphum Province in the epidemic situation of the corona virus. 2019 overall is at a high level (x̅= 3.75) 2) Corona virus 2019 is the Sangha to promote understanding within the community. It is the center of cooperation between the organization and the community. The Sangha is the anchor of the mind, promoting integration between different departments. This leads to the process of participation in management to provide assistance and to establish a center to help those affected and 3) Applying the Sangahavathu principle in the public welfare of the Sangha in Chaiyaphum Province to the epidemic situation. Of the coronavirus disease 2019, the Sangha is the center of the mind for the people. There is a place for donating items, appliances and medical supplies, food and drinking water to the people in the community. There are sermons, talks, discussions, campaigns and communication with the people in the community about the corona virus. Preparing a place to help people infected with coronavirus and at risk groups including consistency in operations such as waiting centers, field hospitals, etc.
